George offers practical, understanding mentoring for teachers—whether they're early in their career, navigating new challenges, or stepping into middle leadership roles.
George works with teachers across a range of subjects and roles, with particular experience in student wellbeing, middle leadership, and the Visual and Performing Arts.
Areas of support include:
Navigating isolation or early-career challenges
Managing workload and competing professional demands
Aspiring to, applying for, and beginning middle leadership roles
Building confidence in leadership and professional decision-making
Developing curriculum, programmes and resources
Balancing work and personal commitments
Setting up new subjects, programmes and learning spaces
Managing broad and/or multi-level subject loads
Working in isolation as the sole teacher of a subject
Developing sustainable co-curricular programmes, including school productions
Mentoring is available as a one-off session or as ongoing support—whatever suits your needs and schedule.
George works with school leaders and governance teams to improve the systems schools use to communicate—across teaching and learning and community engagement. The goal is to make communication clearer, more consistent and more sustainable, improving efficiency, educational outcomes and the experience of staff, students and families.
Areas of focus include:
Reviewing existing communication systems and practices
Identifying gaps, inconsistencies and opportunities for improvement
Reducing duplication, information overload and unnecessary workload
Designing practical processes that work for staff, students and families
Improving how information is communicated across different teams and areas of a school
Partnering with leaders to navigate change and community engagement challenges
This work is collaborative and shaped by each school’s context. Support combines strategic thinking with an on-the-ground understanding of how schools actually operate.
